NATURAL MOVEMENT FITNESS
Learning the skills of natural movement expands our movement repertoire, it brings all round mobility, strength, conditioning and freedom back to the body. And it’s a fun practice that anyone can do.
This is exercise without exercising… without going to a gym, or taking up a sport, it’s moving as our biology and evolution intended, movement that make sense, and becomes ‘second nature’.
Conditioning and fitness are a natural side benefit to moving this way. Functional muscle and cognitive development are also acquired through this nutritious movement practice, making us more capable and adaptable in any environment.
Moving from the ground up, at a slow and easy pace, to suit each individual’s needs, we progressively build to more complex movements that our bodies will start to recognise. We are building new, healthy, biologically appropriate movement patterns, alongside strength, mobility, balance and range. Enhancing cognition and body awareness.
The movements are relatable and useful for moving well in daily life. They are easily integrated into quick ‘movement snack’ habits.
My belief is much happiness can be gained from a body reawakened to it’s natural, biological function and range of movement.
